Can you advise on how to deal with my mom?
Mom's are always hard to deal with, especially when it comes to her grands. There is a point where she has to realize that this isn't her baby, it's yours, and you need to let her know that. Tell her exactly how you feel. Let her know that you love her, and truly want her to be a part of yours and your babies life, but right now, she's upsetting you and you don't want to end up with a bad relationship with her. Let her know that you understand that she's just trying to help, but every Mother is entitled to raising their children the way they choose. As long as it is a safe and good environment for the baby, then you're mother should be supportive in any decision you make for your child. Let her know it isn't personal, that it's just hard making decisions for your child when she's criticizing you. You're doing the best you can do. It's not easy for anyone to tell their mother to chill out a little, but there comes a point where you can only take so much. You're an adult, and you're about a raise a child, and you have to make your own decisions, and she should understand that.
