What does a pediatric doctor do in a well check?

I got a new doctor and i have to go soon. But what do they do in a well check? I am the type of girl that hates doctors! But my mom still makes me go. Do they have to look and your privates? I am a really kind of secret girl and it would just totally embarrass me!
