Does the university of utah count as a college and a medical school?

Ok so i want to be a pediatrican and i heard to be a pediatrican you have to go to 4 years of a college and 4 years of medical school and 3-5 years as a pediatric resident. I live in utah and i wanted to go to the university of utah. Does that count as a college or medical school? if the answers is college than what counts as a medical school?
