General Anesthesia Question?

In a few week I'll be receiving a nerve block that is injected into my spinal cord. I was told that the pediatric anesthesia team will be in the operating room with me to keep me comfortable and that I will need 1-2 hours in the recovery room. They never told me but does this mean that I am receiving general anesthesia?
