How do i find my career?

I'm a senior in high school and I need to start applying to colleges. I want to go into psychology because I'm not sure what i want to do in my life yet, but everyone keeps telling me i have to know what i want to do but i don't know how tofind a career. The careers I've been thinking about are social work, adolescent psychology, elementary school teacher, and pediatric nurse.I'm looking for a career that allows me to help others who have lost their way in life but i have a hard time finding careers for this. the first thing my parents ask me when i tell them what i want to do is how much it pays they say i have to have a job that at least gives me 50,0000 a year but i think i can live with less.. anyway is there anywhere i can search for careers or can anyone give me ideas it would be a big help thank you :) if anyone needs more info or has advice that they dont want to post please email me at hunnipunch@gmail.com
