What qualifications do I need to become a Pediatric Nurse?

I'm interested in becoming a Pediatric Nurse, and it'd be really helpful if someone could tell me what degrees I have to get, and in what major, and for how many years, etc, etc. Also, if you know of any good colleges within the New England area that would correspond, that'd be awesome!!
